The East Devon Business Initiative (EDBI) is an innovative and non-profit making networking group launched by a group of experienced East Devon based business people.

We aim to offer something different and complimentary to other networking. The 'keystone' of EDBI is the new EDBI web site (www.edbi.co.uk) coupled with weekly relaxed club meetings. Become friends & colleagues of fellow members and maximise your business growth opportunities via member referrals.

Since our first official EDBI breakfast in September 2009 interest in the group and membership growth has exceeded expectations. There is no pressure to bring along guests but every week we have one or more guests attend one of our networking breakfasts. We invite regular presenters and outside speakers to come along and impart their knowledge and advice to our members and guests. Spring 2010 Business Speakers & Presentations

Many businesses are focusing on 2010 and the challenging times that lay ahead.

With this in mind the East Devon Business Initiative have looked to organise a series of talks and presentations at our breakfast/networking meetings.

The EDBI would like to extend a big THANK YOU to all our guest presenters for taking the time to attend our breakfast meetings and deliver some very informative and rewarding presentations.

We are currently confirming our Spring presentations and these will be published shortly. Friday 26th Feb sees Robin Humphreys from the mfs partnership, delivering a presentation entitled, "Why Focus on Sales in Difficult Times?" - definitely not one to miss in these tough times!!

We hope to grow our membership from TBX1 members who want a breakfast group to belong to and for our members to have access to TBX1 members via the evening TBX1 networking meetings to which all EDBI members are now invited and by EDBI hosting quarterly big breakfasts from March 2010.
